- Post-graduate in Zoology with Ph.D. in Toxicology. Holds 28 years of experience in toxicology /safety evaluation, biocompatibility studies, risk assessment and quality assurance (GLP/GMP/ISO/NABL). Headed the Pre-clinical safety department and Toxicology departments of reputed Labs/ CRO’s in India. Well-versed with the national and international regulatory requirements and test guidelines.
- Played key role in establishing systems and procedures in three organizations during the process of GLP certification. Designed facility for small and large animal holding and testing, and associated laboratories (more than 1.25 lakh sq ft) for reputed organizations. Actively involved in all phases of Laboratory Project execution starting from lay out preparation, tendering, sourcing of materials & equipment, construction, HVAC, Fire safety, Plumbing, Electrical, BMS, Workstation design to certification (CPCSEA, GLP, GMP, ISO/NABL).
- Guided Ph.D scholars and Graduate/ Post graduate students. Authored/co-authored 14 research papers in reputed international/ national journals. Associated with Jai Research Foundation (JRF), Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, SGS India Pvt. Ltd, Frontier lifeline Pvt. Ltd and International Institute of Biotechnology and Toxicology (IIBAT).
